Quickstart
Create a key, install an SDK and see your first event in the console — about five minutes on any stack.
Create an API key
Sign in to the console, pick (or create) an
organization → project → environment, then open API keys and create one.
The full key — nxs_<prefix>_<secret> — is shown once; store it in your secret
manager or .env.
One key, one environment
Everything a key writes lands in the environment it belongs to, and a key can only read that environment. Use a different key for development, staging and production. See API keys.
Install the SDK
dependencies:
nexus_flutter: ^1.10.0Initialise it and send an event
import 'package:flutter/material.dart';
import 'package:nexus_flutter/nexus.dart';
Future<void> main() async {
WidgetsFlutterBinding.ensureInitialized();
await Nexus.init(const NexusConfig(apiKey: 'nxs_live_xxx'));
runApp(const NexusScope(child: MyApp()));
}
// anywhere below NexusScope:
context.nexus.events.track('signed_up', properties: {'plan': 'pro'});Watch it arrive
Open Events in the console. The event shows within a few seconds — SDKs batch telemetry and flush every 5–10 seconds, on app background and on process exit. Open the event's session to see everything else the same person did around it.
