Usage, limits & billing

What each product meters, the monthly free allowances, and how usage limits protect your bill.

Nexus is pay-as-you-go. Each product records usage on a meter; every meter has a monthly free allowance, and only usage beyond it is billed. Usage from all projects rolls up to the organization's monthly invoice. Current rates are on inverge.net/pricing.

Usage limits

Under Usage limits you can cap any meter per month. Over the cap, ingestion for that product stops — the SDKs keep working (Telescope, for example, still receives its settings) but nothing more is stored or billed until the next month or until you raise the cap.

Billing suspension

If invoices go unpaid past their due date, the data plane answers 402 billing_suspended. The SDKs stop retrying (it cannot help) and surface the error — the .NET realtime socket, for example, stops reconnecting and raises IsBillingSuspended. Paying the invoice restores access.
